Play Mats

I received my registry completion coupon from Target and I'm looking at play mats, because I realized I have almost everything else needed to bring baby home. Our RNP is in the mail, DH was able to order it through his company rewards program for FREE! Yay! I'm ordering a 4 sided changing pad when I order the play mat. H is going to love more boxes!!

Part of me wants to spring for the last one, because it looks like it can do a lot... but then I'm kind of stuck on spending that much on basically a baby blanket with toys attached to it. The second one is just adorable... that's really the only reason I like it... haha

@Madeline10L I saw that one too and really liked it! I'm considering putting them in a hat and picking one out.

@LB1117 I registered for some of their toys and they're super cute! I'm just concerned with it not being terribly interactive!

I agree with @Madeline10L. DD loved her play mat with toys that hang from the top and then something she could twirl with her feet. I also added one of the pull toys that she would reach for and pull. it was a great milestone. The first two you posted seemed like blankets for tummy time to me.

I had the first one and it had about 5 dangly toys and a little bolster for under his arms plus the mirror which is a big hit. It worked fine but I always had playmat envy because there seemed to be cooler ones out. If budget is an issue, I'd but again. If not, a prettier one would be lovely.

We basically have the same one lb posted, and he loves it. He loves the dangly animals and can hit and kick them at the same time and the bolster pillow is great for easing him into tummy time since he usually hates it.

We got a cute little cheap one. She used it for about 2 months since we didn't get it until she was a couple months old. As soon as she wanted to move around she hated it. I like the piano one Madeline posted especially since at first babies kick around a lot!

The last one. I was gifted one similar, and a more basic one. I kept the basic one so I could get more money for the return with the better one, and I regret it. Luckily, we were handed down the last one you have posted, so our next LO will get to use it.
